The PPKn Study Program serves as an academic and professional education institution. Therefore, the PPKn Study Program is directed toward producing professional teachers, meaning teachers as a professional position. Every professional position requires a set of competencies, including knowledge, mastery of the scientific foundation underlying the field of study, ethics, attitudes, and professional behavior. These requirements must characterize professional PPKn teachers. This means every PPKn teacher must possess scientific competencies in the field of study as well as professional competencies in teaching, educating, guiding, and training. With professional teaching competencies, PPKn teachers can interact with the professional community or a broader learning community. The scientific competencies in the field of study and professional competencies that PPKn teachers must have can only be acquired through a relevant, accountable, efficient, and effective educational process. Such an educational process should provide learning opportunities and experiences that enable students to develop their intellectual potential and psychological capacity. That learning process should also enhance functional connections to everyday real life, meaning it has strong and accountable relevance. Students as prospective PPKn teachers are expected not only to have scientific competencies in the field of study and profession but also to be capable of solving and resolving problems, and even proactive in developing the PPKn teaching profession. The PPKn curriculum to be developed is understood and addressed as a field of learning experiences for prospective PPKn teacher students. These learning experiences must ensure the formation of competencies, including core competencies, supporting competencies, and other necessary competencies to support the core competencies as PPKn teachers.

MISSION
- Organize superior, innovative, and Pancasila-charactered Pancasila and Citizenship Education based on local wisdom. Conduct research in the field of Pancasila and Citizenship Education that contributes to scientific development in addressing national and state issues, published in scientific journals. Implement community service programs oriented toward empowering academic and non-academic communities. Provide services for improving and developing the quality of PPKn teachers at junior high school (SMP) and senior high school (SMA) levels in accordance with advancements in science, technology, and the field of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. Organize education and training for the community in the field of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. Establish local, national, and international collaborations to enhance the quality and standards of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education study program
- Melaksanakan Penelitian dalam bidang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan ilmu dalam pemecahan masalah-masalah kebangsaan dan kenegaraan serta terpublikasikan pada jurnal ilmiah.
- Menyelenggarakan Program Pengabdian pada Masyarakat yang berorientasi pada pemberdayaan masyarakat akademik dan non akademik.
- Melayani usaha perbaikan dan pengembangan mutu guru PPKn SMP dan SMA sesuai dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam bidang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.
- Menyelenggarakan pendidikan dan pelatihan bagi masyarakat dalam bidang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.
- Menjalin kerjasama tingkat lokal nasional dan internasional untuk meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan.
TUJUAN
- Menghasilkan lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan masa studi rata-rata 4 tahun dan memiliki IPK 3,25;
- Mengembangkan produk media pembelajaran yang diterbitkan pada jurnal ilmiah atau bahan ajar minimal 4 artikel/bahan ajar setiap tahun;
- Menghasilkan penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa pada tingkat nasional rata-rata 12 penelitian setiap tahun;
- Melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan, asosiasi profesi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan atau s jenisnya rata-rata 8 pengabdian setiap tahun;
- Menghasilkan kerjasama dan tindak lajut dengan lembaga-lembaga terkait dalam pengembangan PendidikanPancasila dan Kewarganegaraan minimal 2 kerjasama setiap tahun.
PROFIL LULUSAN
- Pendidik profesional, penulis buku ditingkat SLTP sederajat dan SLTA sederajat yang memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional dalam bidang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan yang unggul, inovatif dan berkarakter pancasila berbasis kearifan lokal.
- Peneliti muda bidang pendidikan, politik, hukum dan kemasyarakatan; studi lanjut pada program studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Magister Pendidikan, Magister Hukum dan Magister Ilmu Politik
- Wirausaha kewarganegaraan (civic entrepeneurship) seperti Usaha Sosial Berbasis Lingkungan, Program Pendidikan dan Pelatihan, Ekonomi Kreatif Lokal, Koperasi Kewarganegaraan dan Program Kewirausahaan Sosial
